Land of Offshore Winds

My first day of surf was not what I expected ...... instead of getting organized in the Village, we decided to go straight to the surf where we were greeted with brisk offshores, and solid head high plus surf.

As a photographer I was amazed at how good the light was, as my last trip to Mainland Mex last year was just the opposite.

Peaks with long workable walls were just nonstop for hours, with just myself and my two bros. When we had gotten there we were the only ones there, but as time moved on the lineup started to fill.

This Was the first day and I had already clocked in more surf than my whole 2004 Season !
